If you asked me out of a monk, ineptitude, or water ele wich would present a greater threat to our split and the answer would be ineptitude. The necros bar wasn't really suited for dealing with splits, he certainly wasn't a threat.

You don't always need a standard runner bar, sorry to disappoint.

The point is not to threaten your split, the point is to stall it so they can push your stand team and abuse the fact that you dont have party healing.

They weren't going to be pushing or punishing anyone with 5 guys at the stand. You don't need a bunch of party healing to keep up with 5 guys.

If you can stall a split of 3-4 people long enough with 1-2 people you definately can push at the stand in a 6-7 vs 4-5 situation, this even is rawr's normal response to a split except of course they don't 'push' as such, they just spike like they normally do.

well yea, cause when dR's split was mortally crippled by the loss of windforce, rawr of course took advantage of the situation.

or something.

There's nothing wrong with playing lame builds, especially if they're effective. It's good to have a wide variety of builds prepared for tournament settings, look at all the old-school tournaments, the metagaming that rose in those was all because the teams were versatile and had a variety of builds under their belts.

Theres nothing wrong with what anyone is doing in GvG. Theres no document that says "Thou shalt only runnest what thou's peers agree on". If there was, there would be no differentiation in any build (it's almost like that now omg). All this thread is about is people in the r100-1000 region bitching about how the "respectable guilds" were awesome and how rawr will never be as totally cool coz they run something silly zomg!
Quit the damn crying, people will run what they want, and you have two options; Play them, cry and fail... or play them, and work to counter their builds or whatever.

P.s. totally off topic, but can someone tell me what wand Tommy uses?

Wintergreen Bow; For his Healing set, it's probably either [wiki]Dunshek's Purifier[/wiki] or [wiki]Eternal Flame Wand[/wiki]. I personally think Dunshek's is the better looking wand.

It's an Asuran Scepter. I don't quite remember what color I dyed it. Some combination of red, white, and silver I would imagine.

lol xD

but seriously its not fun to watch a r16 vs a r18, when its sineptitude vs 5 eles and 3 monks. It sucks, i know its good to have a strong bunch of builds you can mix it up with for upset wins, pero that is just kinda lame in my opinion and not enjoyable.

w/e i fail.
